Join us on Friday, March 29th at 7:00 PM as we take communion, remembering Jesus‘ words from Luke 22, “ this is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me,” and celebrating the saving power of His blood that was shed for us. You can also take communion with us from your home. Gather your elements, a piece of bread or cracker, and juice and join us virtually.

Meet our Lead Pastor

Hi, my name is Steve.

I serve as the Lead Pastor at LifeWay and I believe that you are uniquely wired by God for a specific purpose, and that unless you figure out what that purpose is, you'll never be truly fulfilled.

No one else on earth can fulfill the unique calling that God has for you.

No one else can fulfill your assignment.

Maybe you know exactly what your purpose is, maybe you've been running from it for a while, or maybe you have absolutely no idea where to even start looking for it.

But I want to help you find it.

Because I believe that the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who actually do.

Where are you located?

LifeWay Church is located at 2172 Berlin Tpke, Newington, CT 06111. We are across the turnpike from Bowl-O-Rama.

What time is service?

Our services are Sundays at 9:30 AM and 11:15 AM both in person and online. Our Nursery and Kids Church is available during both our 9:30 AM and 11:15 AM services.

Where do I park?

There is parking along the front and side of our building as well as in the neighboring parking lot.

Is there something for my kids?

Both our nursery (ages 6 weeks to 4 years) and Kid’s Church (Kindergarten - 5th grade) are open for your kids during our 9:30 and 11:15 AM services. Your kids will be greeted by our background checked and trained volunteers and will enjoy age appropriate, Christ-centered lessons and activities.

Why plan a visit?

We know that showing up to a new place for the first time can be intimidating. But, at LifeWay Church, it's our desire that you feel right at home from the moment you pull into the parking lot. As a first time guest, you are a VIP to us, so we'll be there with you every step of the way. We even have an exclusive gift just for you!

What does a typical service look like?

We begin each service with vibrant, contemporary Christian music lead by our LifeWay Worship Team. After that, you'll hear the latest of what's happening at LifeWay followed by an encouraging, Bible-based message. Our services usually lasts for one hour – you can always expect to start and end on time. After service, feel free to connect with others in our lobby.

How do I join a small group?

At LifeWay Church, our small groups, called Life Groups, run on a semester schedule (February - April, June - August, and October - December). You can view our current catalog and sign up on our groups page.
