Born and raised in Newington, Kristy has been working with children and families for over 20 years. In her down time, she loves spending time with her family, listening to music, and cooking.
LifeWay Learning Center is open from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. The Center closes early (4:00 PM) on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
What Holidays are you closed?
LifeWay Learning Center will be closed on the following holidays:

Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Friday after Thanksgiving

What about Vacations?
Tuition will be charged regardless of attendance; i.e., sick days, vacation, holidays. LifeWay Learning Center does grant two (2) weeks per year without charge for vacation providing a written request is given to LifeWay Learning Center management a minimum of two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled vacation time. Vacation must be taken in one-week increments.
What kind of curriculum do you follow?
Our classrooms follow the Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards (CTELDS): cognition, social and emotional development, physical development, language and literacy, creative arts, math, science, and social studies.
What forms are needed to enroll?
An enrollment form (contract) is to be completed by the parent(s)/guardian(s) and Head Teacher. An updated Health Form must be completed by a physician and given to LifeWay Learning Center prior to your child’s attendance. Children may not start unless a current health form is on file.
Is there a registration or security deposit?
A one-time, non-refundable registration fee as well as a one-week security deposit must be paid at the time of enrollment.
Are there any discounts?
A discount is offered to families with more than one child enrolled. The discount is applied to the oldest child(ren) in the family. CT Cares 4 Kids is accepted.
Are snacks or meals provided?
LifeWay Learning Center provides morning and afternoon snacks daily. Parents are responsible to pack a lunch for their child. Please respect our “Nut Free” policy.
