Experiences from the past have the power to shape today. The Bible is about ordinary people who do extraordinary things because of an extraordinary God. Imagine if ones of these giants of the faith could come down from the stands and run a lap with us, what would they say to encourage us?
Heb 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
